The Camden Alcohol Serviceoffers a variety of treatment options for any concerned alcohol users living in the Camden area. This should be the first number called should you have any worries about your own or someone else’s alcohol consumption
This is a joint service through the NHS via CSATS (Camden Specialist Alcohol Treatment Service) and CRI (Crime Reduction Initiatives). CSATS is Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust and CRI is a company that works in partnership with NHS Camden on alcohol issues in the Borough.
What services are provided?
Treatment options available include:
- full assessment of treatment needs
- advice for and assessment of alcohol using patients in local hospitals
- shared treatments with local GPs
- psychology service
- various community detox programmes
- assessment for and funding of in-patient detox and rehabilitation
- named keyworker for every client

Your GP or other healthcare professional can refer you to the service or you can contact the service directly for an appointment on 020 3227 4950.

Integrated Alcohol Service for Camden and Islington is based at 7-8 Early Mews, Arlington Road, Camden Town, NW1 7HG
Appointments and telephone support: Mon-Fri 9-5, evening appointments available on request and Open access/drop in: Mon, Wed, Fri 10-12 (last appt 11am) Tue, Thur 2-4 (last appt 3pm).
